Serenity Clergy
High Priestess Rhiannon
Rhiannon’s ministry is multidimensional, she endeavors to:
- Create and keep alive the musicality of Blue Star through incorporating songs, both old and new into the ritual framework.
- Maintain an atmosphere that is inviting and inclusive to all ages, and families.
- Make the teachings of Blue Star accessible to people no matter their academic or physical limitations.
- Create and maintain an inclusive environment where folks of all gender identities, expression, and sexual orientation feel safe and embraced
In addition, Rhiannon is often called upon as a spiritual adviser, and mediator. She works from within the Blue Star liturgy and practices to help individuals overcome barriers impeding their spiritual growth.
High Priest Taliesin
Taliesin received certification as a Sexual Assault Victim’s Advocate in 2014, to provide support and resources to victims of sexual violence, and he is also a military lay-leader, providing service and outreach to other military Pagans.
He maintains Serenity’s library, a resource for the Coven to share books relevant to our faith and Craft. With a passion for myth, poetry, and song, and sharing our Tradition‘s history and the lore of the Gods, he is a Bard and Storyteller. Taliesin is also a prolific brewer of mead, and the contents of Serenity’s chalice usually comes from his stock.
As a devotional offering to a Patron, Taliesin has transformed the story of Lleu Llaw Gyffes from the Fourth Branch of the Mabinogi back into a seasonally relevant oral tale resembling its Bardic origins.
Emiritus Elder Lady MorningStar
Although recently “retired” from primary activity duty and bequeathed Coven Leadership upon Lord Taliesin and Lady Rhiannon, Emiritus MorningStar continues to provide guidance and mentoring to students, child wrangling for rituals, and leads the occasional workshop.
